This is a vintage Line Pair of old US Stamps. Scott # 324. This is part of the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Commemoratives Stamp Set. The set was created exactly 101 years after the Louisiana Purchase was made between the US & France. The man represented in this stamp is Thomas Jefferson, our countries 3rd President. Extremely Fine Stamp This line pair represented in the photos, has extremely fresh coloring, highly visible watermark & solid margins 50% of the stamps or more! There are no faults of any kind except for the top right perforation of the stamp on the right. The perf. was incorrectly cut at the Bureau of Engraving & Printing, not considered a fault.
