THIN CUT JADEITE JADE & SILVER EARRINGS Each pair of these earrings are cut from super thin slabs of Guatemalan Jadeite. Jadeite is strong & durable, it can be made into more delicate shapes like these. This style of earring is very popular & we happy to be able to offer this style in more colors. Jade shade: A light green "mint" jade with an awesome spotted pattern. Earring in fine 925 Silver. Jade part measures: 38 x 23 x 2.6 mm These earrings are cut from Guatemalan Jade as was used by the Ancient Maya. It comes from the Motagua River Valley in Guatemala, where it can be found in the ground & stream. All of our jade was taken out by hand. No machinery was used. 10 percent goes to the Casita Copan Children's home.
