A ceramic.Amazing piece from the oldest workshop in Greece & my business parthners .This beautiful piece is made from natural clay & contains two pieces.The base (cup) for the oil & the candles (wicks) & the top cup with Virgin Mary & baby Jesus Christ image or with ICxC NIKA stamp,and holes for the smoke from the burning candles.The back side of the oil lamp have also holes & big Cross carved on the clay.Almost all the models have Virgin Mary with baby Jesus Christ or ICxC NIKA (the Marble efe oil candle model), glaze finished (outside & inside) & different paterns of flowers or ornaments Dimention 12.5cm10cm./4.92''3.93'' Way of use: put in the cup paraffin oil or olive oil above the middle of the cup. Then use the wicks & the natural cork base for the wicks like we use the classic oil lamps. Then put the top cup on the plate. Move it only from the plate part. Don't touch the top part when is burning .The clay absorb heat! Safety Notes: Be sure that the oil lamp is placed & remains on a heat resistant surface when in use. Keep away from inflamable materials. Keep away from children & animals.
