PLEASE READ! The unit is unpainted & unassembled, but comes with clear instructions. This allows you to set the code that will unlock it & change that code whenever you wish. It also allows you to choose whether or not the dials will click as they turn. (Without the clicking, the puzzle is more challenging because the dials won't automatically snap into the in-line position.) Finally, it allows you to paint the parts before assembly. You can choose whether to have longer or shorter gems at the ends (default is long). You can also choose whether the rings should be in English letter, Runes, or Magical Glyphs. If printed with resin, some internal parts will still be FDM for better long-term durability. If printed with translucent resin, only the parts with gems will be in that material. The rest will be gray resin (except for the parts that are FDM as mentioned above). This is to help save you money by reducing the amount of the model that has to be printed in the more expensive resin. Please use the personalization section to specify what color you would like the gems to be: clear, ruby, emerald, sapphire, amethyst. Also works great in escape rooms! You can give the object to your players & scatter clues through the game that point to how to unlock it & access the inside. When your order ships you will also receive a document with printable gaming card showing the object's description, stats & game price. You have your choice of materials: Eco-Resin is gray in color, plant-based & therefore more eco-friendly. It gives the sharpest details. However, it is also fairly brittle & small parts are easily broken. It is therefore best for pieces that won't receive a lot of handling. It's also more economical for large pieces & works fine with them as they don't typically have as many fine, breakable elements. Transparent Resin allows you to have the effect of real gems. Simply paint the other parts of the model, leaving the gem untouched. FDM is the least expensive option & the most durable. Translucent colors won't be fully transparent, but when finished with a glossy clearcoat they can still look gem-like. There may be some minor scarring on bottom-facing surfaces in cases where supports are necessary to get a perfect print. Item price is determined by the amount of material required for printing. The model is unpainted & unprimed. The model requires assembly. While support marks are often visible under the base, they are virtually impossible to spot on the parts of the model that will be seen. We also remove all supports prior to shipping, although you may occasionally find a micro-support that was missed somewhere. If so, it will be easily removed with tweezers.
