Description

Providing high-quality gemstones on Etsy since 2009! Cecile Raley Designs is a proud member of the American Gem Trade Association. This boulder opal cabochon is a sort of banana shape, or a very elongated rounded triangle, flat & great for a simple prong pendant, perhaps with a gemstone on one side as an accent. Performs very well in indirect daylight (and of course very well in sunlight). Black opal stripes with bright blue, green & some purple at the tip. We can make a pendant for you with this opal, for instance a flat wire frame with just a few tiny prongs, or a full bezel. This would look nice set East West in an eternity showpiece necklace, maybe with a blue or green accent stone one one side. The opal is not treated & not a doublet. Not sure if an opal is the right stone for you?
