Echinacea in white, "White Swan." Fantastic for pollinators The roots & leaves are used for medicinal purposes & can also be made into a tea. Most echinacea seeds need a period of cold stratification to break dormancy. The seeds can be planted in fall or winter (or when there is 30 days of cold weather left) or cold stratified in your refrigerator. To cold stratify, fold the seeds into a moist paper towel, & seal in a ziploc bag. Remove after 30 days & sow as normal after danger or frost.
