Jupiter is a classic example of a 4-4-0 steam locomotive, earning the nickname "American type" due to its widespread use across the country. This iconic locomotive is renowned for its distinctive design, featuring a tall, slender smokestack, a cowcatcher at the front, & a prominent headlight. Its wheels are arranged in a configuration of four leading wheels, four driving wheels, & zero trailing wheels, providing both power & stability. Jupiter's contribution to the development of the American West is commemorated in numerous historical reenactments & museums, allowing visitors to step back in time & experience the era of steam-powered rail travel.
