Early morning in the Tivoli Gardens. The sun is slowly rinsing behind the Japanese Tower which was build in 1901 & has approx. 2,800 colored domes on the tower & its annexes. The tower is also referred to as "The Chinese Tower" for some reason I cannot explain. Every year Tivoli Amusement Park (or simply Tivoli) lets a Danish artist design the poster art for the coming season. The art for the poster of 2003 by Erik Steffensen (1961) who is a Danish photographer, painter, art critic & exhibition organizer. Tivoli is one of the world most famous amusement parks. The park is the second oldest amusement park in the world & is based in Copenhagen, Denmark & is by far the most visited spot in Scandinavia.
