Pamper your body & feed your soul with this wonderful nourishing salve from the great northern wilderness. This special limited edition salve has been made from 3 different powerful varieties of sub boreal trees. Each of the three oils used in this salve have been wildcrafted from scratch using organic & wild ingredients from my own off-grid, private property in The Great North Woods of Vermont. Extremely gentle heat of less than 110oF has been applied for a period of 48 hours to extract the medicinal qualities from these natural tree resins to produce very high quality oils with maximum potency. The ingredients in this salve are: - Wild Eastern White Pine Resin - Wildcrafted Northern White Poplar Buds - Hand Harvested Wild Balsam Gum/Resin - Organic Balsam Fir Essential Oil - Organic cold-pressed, extra virgin olive oil - 100% pure unrefined locally farmed domestic beeswax. The infused herbal oil is crafted into a salve using pure & real American beeswax. I never source beeswax from non-domestic locations since it is frequently made from petroleum products & containing harmful chemicals. I carefully research & source real beeswax from small American bee farmers who hand filter the raw wax themselves. This wax has a wonderful honey aroma that can be detected in the herbal salves I create. Real beeswax is naturally antimicrobial, nourishing to the skin, & moisturizing. Etsy discourages sellers to provide buyers with specific uses of herbal products, but a quick google search will help you to find the many useful benefits of the key ingredients of this salve. This salve has a wonderfully subtle, warm woodsy scent. The first scent profile upon the skin is a rich forestial balsam scent, followed by the vanilla-like tones of eastern white pine resin, & finally the seductive scent of springtime poplar bud oil & warm honey. This salve is semi-soft processed, so it spreads easily, but will not melt unless exposed to extreme heat. Shipping in hot regions may temporarily alter the consistency of the product or may alter its cosmetic appearance, but it will not alter the efficacy or usefulness of its ingredients. This salve is shelf stable & is best when stored in a cool, dry location. Do not allow any water to come into contact with the product or it may affect shelf life. I offer this product in different sizes: 1 ounce round tin (30ml) 2 ounce round tin (60ml) We do not use fancy labels on our products by choice. We believe the quality of the ingredients & the craftsmanship that goes into our products are the most important aspects of our natural products. We prefer to leave as small a footprint on the planet as possible. Vinyl, plastic, & even coated paper labels only add more waste to the planet, so we choose simple recycled Kraft paper
