Owl by Leonard Baskin - Artist Signed Wood Engraving on Japanese Paper, Gampi Torinoko - limited edition catalogue by Oxbow Press of which only 50 of 500 included a separate Owl print in addition to the one that is attached to the title page. The catalogue is titled: The Harold P. McGrath Collection of the Prints of Leonard Baskin, Catalogue by David F. Walsh, Hatay Stratton Inc., 1987 Leonard Baskin is one of the most important North American artists of the past century. Measurements: Wood Engraving is very small: approximately 2.5 by 2 inches & the Catalogue is 8.5 x 11 inches Condition: The 2 small artworks are in excellent condition & they are a wonderful representation of the skill & detail of Leonard Baskin's works. He signed it just below the Owl in pencil on both engravings. The catalogue is in very good condition with just a very slight tiny bend to the top right cornertips, & there is a very teeny tiny spot along the right side border of the pages. Leonard's work is in many major museums across the work. Provenance can be provided as this was purchased from a dealer in Dallas, TX Ships via US Priority Mail with tracking & full insurance coverage.
