A darling little 1940's Occupied Japan porcelain figuring. This figurine mimics that of those made during the Victorian period. It depicts a little girl out in her yard feeding chickens. in this small scene there is only the little girl & one chicken at her feet pecking at the "corn". Her yellow bowl indicates that she is dropping corn kernels. It measures over 2 5/8'' high, 1 5/8'' at the widest, & 7/8'' thick. Signed " MADE in OCCUPIED JAPAN" on the bottom.
