Quality: Paper prints are printed with a special Giclee (jee-clay) large format printer which utilizes pigment inks rather than dyes. These pigments are very intense & are essentially paint! Our acid free 100% cotton rag, bright white paper is made & sourced in the USA & is absolutely gorgeous. All of these materials combine to make museum quality, archival art that will last for a very long time if framed properly (under glass, with acid free matting). Each one is hand numbered & signed. Canvas Giclees (jee-clays) are printed one by one by ourselves as well on the same large format art printers with 10 different ink cartridges. They are then hand varnished twice & stretched on a high quality, heavy duty wood stretcher bar & then hand signed in acrylic poured paint by Kelly. Embellished Giclees start out as canvases, then Kelly puts them on her easel to give them the hand touched magic only artist applied paint can bring. The textured acrylic paint adds dimension & interest to the surface, creating a very close feeling to an original piece of art, which they actually are! Aluminum Giclees are gorgeous in person & have a slight glossy finish. Many people think it is a painting on the back of glass when they first see them. Each is hand sublimated in Jupiter by a specialty studio that has built a national reputation with artists & collectors. We are very lucky to have them here in our little beach town! Easy to Frame: Paper prints are created in standard sizes to make it as easy as possible for you to find ready made frames at your local hobby store. Industry standard frame sizes: 8.5x11 16x20 20x24 30x40 Canvas Giclees (jee-clay) are gallery wrapped (canvas wraps all the way around edge & is stapled on the back), eliminating the need for any frame at all, & hanging hardware is included in your order. All you need is a hammer & a wall Embellished Giclees are gallery wrapped also. Aluminum Giclees do not require framing & are ready to hang. Shipping: Paper prints are wrapped individually in cellophane & packaged with foam board to maintain stiffness in transit.
