The cotton will stay cooler in the summer than the heavy knit or fleece ones & is in available in many colors & pretty patterns. Please note covers are longer than picture shows. I am now making them to cover the velcro on the back. Ends are fitted for a tighter fit. Covers are approximately 17.5 inches long so they fit all commercial cervical collars. The width is variable as it is different for each person's neck height and/or the need for greater restriction. How to Measure for Size of your Neck Brace: If there is no indications of sizing on box or with paperwork. Place neck brace on flat surface. Find tallest part of brace, this is usually the sides. Using a ruler or tape measure, look at eye level for most accurate sizing. It will be between 2" - 4". I have included a picture of measuring in listing. This will take out the "new smell" of some collars that have the strong "new fabric" odor as well as softening the fabric. Use your favorite laundry detergent & a fabric softener if needed. Wash in warm or cold water, machine wash as you would your regular clothing. Machine drying is okay on medium or low heat so as not to cause any shrinkage. These cotton cervical collar covers are removable so can be washed & reused many times. They slip over the most common neck braces sold. Choose between the widths of 2"' 2.5", 3", 3.5" & 4".
