Made to the exact national standard used starting from 1986, when the 140 kilometer (approximately 87 mile) long route was first designated as a national scenic byway to run from Cairns to Cape Tribulation along Australia's northeastern coast, in Queensland. Even though the road is only about 140 kilometers, there are a large number of tourist stops along the way, including the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park & the Daintree Rainforest. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped, as many enjoy their service on this highway & those which lead to it. They are not generally intended to end up in one's suitcase. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without risking unwanted attention from the Australian Federal Police. The sign is flat printed on heavy gauge steel, with completely accurate layout & fonts. It is available in these sizes: 16x8, 24x12, 36x18, & 72x36 inches. It is a non-reflective sign - perfect for ordinary display, indoors or outdoors. (If you would like a larger size version,please ask as I can certainly make one!)
