Antique Vintage circa 1910-1930s one piece FIRST AMERICA SWIMSUIT, Edwardian Swimsuit-bathing suit. This lovely gem is made of a black 100% worsted wool knit. Buttons on one shoulder. This is a 'Bloomer' type swimming suit, with skirt over shorts. There are button holes along the outside of each leg as to add ties or buttons to make the shorts tighter. This suit is in very nice antique condition for its age-there is a bite in the wool -AS SHOWN. APPROx MEASUREMENTS - CHEST: 30" WAIST: 26" HIPS: 36" These measurements are side to side flat across & doubled UNSTRETCHED-there is some stretch to the suit.
