Mid Century Mexican Ethnic Souvenir Doll-Mexican Doll with Sleepy Eyes-Poncho-Pottery DIsh-9" inches Tall on Stand-Collectible Vintage Doll This doll was from my late Aunt Ceil's doll collection. My Aunt Ceil traveled the world & bought a doll everywhere she went. She had quite an extensive collection. This doll has been stored in a box for the last 30 years, minimum. Doll has braided hair, a plastic necklace & a small painted pottery plate attached to poncho. Condition: in very nice condition considering it's age-it was never "played" with (Aunt Ceil had no children of her own) Face/hair is dusty-I did not attempt to clean. No smells. Clothes have light age related discoloration. Doll has sleepy eyes-left eye may be a bit dislodged however with gentle movement you can set it straight & open. Sometimes eye sticks closed but can be reopened. Doll is attached (stapled) to a plastic stand & doll retains both her shoes. Doll is APx: 9 inches tall & 5" wide-I measured how far the skirt puffs out. Poncho is misshapen from storage & ribbons are discolored & a bit frayed. She appears to be made of rubber. Arms are moveable however are constrained by clothing. Clothes do have many stray threads Doll may be older than I have dated Please look at all photos closely & use your ZOOM.
