Large Sorrento inlaid music box/return to Sorrento. Italian artisans have been making these exquisite music boxes for generations. No one has perfected this art quite like they have in Sorrento. Simply beautiful! Brand new musical mechanism. Key is present but does not lock. I sanded the exterior of this box down to smooth. I then hand-brushed at least six coats of an oil-based polyurethane finish on it. There are a couple small print marks on the lid & one minor nick, hardly noticeable but worth mentioning.
