Here we have a wonderfully unique pendant. It appears to be late Victorian or could also be Edwardian/Arts & Crafts. The handmade 14k bezel appears to lean more towards the later period. The loving attention to detail in this piece is something special. The image has been painted, painstakingly, by hand on top of the glass. Look closely & you can even see two, tiny, yellow birds perched on her - one on her shoulder & the other on her forearm. Greco Roman themed jewelry was wildly popular during the Victorian Era. This lovely lady has the serene visage of a Greek statue come to life. She rests inside a 14k hand wrought bezel.
