"Severance" UNFRAMED original etching Image size: 1.75x2.25" Paper size: 3.75x4.5" Limited edition of 30 (second edition printed after first edition sold out) This teeny little print is part of an ongoing series of work exploring the malleable nature of memory formation & recall, depicting slightly ambiguous narratives characterized by omission, distortion, & hyperbole. All imagery is rendered by hand, incorporating traditional intaglio techniques of hard-ground etching, mezzotint, & spit bite, along with lots of scraping & burnishing. Executed in oil-based etching inks on ivory Fabriano Rosaspina paper, this work was hand-pulled from a single copper plate using my Conrad tabletop etching press. Prints are signed & numbered in pencil along the bottom margin. Select print only, or choose matting option to have the artwork arrive matted to easily pop into a standard 5x5" frame (frame not included.)
