This is a quartz crystal from the Sand Horse Prospect in Polk County NC. This Quartz resembles the candle Quartz from Madagascar as well as some varieties of Skeletal Quartz. If there is red or pink inside it is regarded as a Hematoid (Hematite inclusions) Quartz.
