The scent & sensation of the rainbow found in the middle of nowhere, of defiance in the face of the misbelief that the desert is a lifeless waste. The fragrance of the truth, blooming & sharing life & joy, full of soft petals bursting from thorny leaves, amidst spines & glimmering heat, full of color, dripping with nectar, dancing in the wind in a celebration of survival. Inspired by my experience & continuing career as a wilderness & cowboy tour guide in the West & as a desert witch in a 30+ year relationship with a genius loci of the Mojave & surrounding deserts!
