Condition: New, Handmade in Greece Material: Pure Bronze Height: 23 cm(9 inches) Width: 10 cm(4 inches) Weight: 600 g ANCIENT GREEK BRONZE MIRROR The original is in the National Museum in Athens & dates to the 5th century BC. The ancient Greeks used polished bronze plates as mirrors. They were usually made of molten bronze or copper material. They were round, oval, & square, & most of the time they had a handle. If any rust developed it was easily polished new. All our bronze items are cast in Greece, using the traditional 'lost wax' method. As nothing is mass-produced, there will inevitably be slight variations in patination & coloring. Each piece is, therefore, unique.
