Although he had a short mainstream career, Stevie Ray Vaughan is considered one of the most influential blues musicians & was the leading figure in the blues revival of the 1980s. He formed the group Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble with fellow musicians Tommy Shannon & Chris Layton. in Step was their fourth & most successful studio album.
