On offer here is a set of 31 unused never hinged, never postmarked GDR/DDR stamp collections from postwar Germany. All are unused & in fantastic condition, as the photos show. Beautifully illustrated & well preserved, the stamps have never been hinged or postmarked. There was a time when DDR stamps were all the rage, then the elders started to pass on & their collections vanished after flooding the market. Now people are finding great interest in stamps from East Germany, especially unused sets like these without cancellations. Yes, DDR stamps were issued in huge quantities, & on top of that, were sold to collectors with "fake" cancelation, called CTOs, but if you want to really build a collection, uncancelled mint condition stamps like this set is highly desirable.
