Antique Hollywood Regency Chinese Silk Painting Watercolor Woman Traditional We are offering an antique Hollywood Regency / James Mont Chinese watercolor on silk painting. The piece measures without the frame about 10.5" high x 6.75"wide & about 20" high x 14.5" wide with the frame. This piece depicts a woman in traditional hanfu resting while harvesting a tree, harvest hook in hand. There is calligraphy on the left side with two zhu wen seals. Beautiful silk matt. Bamboo style wood frame. This piece is the perfect addition to any collection. On the back of the frame, the previous owner included a tentative translation of the calligraphy (see pictures). Very good condition with minimal age-related yellowing. There is a small stain to the left of the figure, though it is barely noticeable.
