This custom hourglass is handcrafted from solid walnut grown in the United States. Light to dark brown in color, this wood has a fine, open grain & a smooth finish. This particular hourglass also comes with intricate cocobolo inserts making it even more stunning. Cocobolo is a beautiful wood, it's denseness makes it very strong & durable & it finishes very smoothly. Combined with glass bulbs hand-blown in England, this classic piece is stunning & makes a wonderful option for a wedding sand ceremony. As with all wood each piece will vary slightly in graining & color making each hourglass unique. Size is 6" in diameter & 10" tall. Hourglasses are handmade so sizes are approximate. Specifications: - 6"D x 10"H - Comes disassembled with empty globe & instructions for filling the globe & assembly. - Engraving can be done to the hourglass. If you wish to keep inserts on both sides of the hourglass your option is to add an engraved plate to the inside of the hourglass.
