Scott catalog #: 3185n in 1930, Jones won all four major tournaments, achieving the first Grand Slam in golf history. He dominated the sport while keeping his amateur status, & never became a professional golfer. Golf remained a hobby for Jones, who was a practicing lawyer in Atlanta. He played because he loved the game. After retiring from golf competition at the age of 28, Jones continued his involvement in the sport. He made instructional videos, wrote for magazines, & designed the Augusta National Golf Club in Atlanta. He also created the Masters Championship tournament that is played there each year. Pack of 5 Mint unused postage stamps with original gum as issued by the Post Office. These stamps are genuine & valid to use as postage for current mailing.
