For your consideration is an impressive mid-century acrylic lucite (resin) statue by Dorothy Thorpe, depicting Guan Yin. It measures 14" high by approximately 6.5" wide, & weights 9 pounds & 8 ounces. As shown on the photos, the left side of Buddha's hair accessories are broken (right side on the screen). Also, the inner tip of the piece located on each side of the statue's shoulders is broken. There are scratches on one of the arms, the front & back bottom edge, & some marks intrinsic of the resin here & there. Please take a look at all photos for details.
