Vintage 1940s Gold Mesh Whiting & Davis Purse, some issues, Evening Bag ERA: True vintage item from the 1940s MEASUREMENTS: The purse is about 5 to 7 inches wide 6 inches plus strap/handle MATERIAL: metal mesh LABEL: 'Whiting & Davis' on label & frame Classic gold metal mesh Whiting & Davis purse. Gold frame with short chain strap, pinch closure. Acetate lining is gold. CONDITION: Very good condition. There are some spots on the top of the frame on one side. Light wear & scratches on the frame. There is speckled wear to the gold finish on one side of the purse. More noticeable wear to multiple disks on the other side.
