Description
Presented is a nice pair of continental European silver salt cellars. The salt cellars are raised up on handsome ball & claw feet. They are beautifully hand chased with flowers, scrolls, & leaves. The salts were made around the turn of the century, they are approximately 100 years old. Each salt cellar is stamped on the underside with a pseudo hallmark. We have tested them & guarantee them to be solid silver, most likely 800 purity. The condition is excellent. There are a few little dings here & there, but this is minor. There are no dents, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, & no repairs. The salts measure 1 7/8 inches in diameter & 1 1/4 inches tall. The weight is 61.9 grams or 2.2 ounces.
