Description
This is a colorful 70s vintage Buffalo plaid dress! It's red, white, blue & green with a super mod pointy collar, short cuffed sleeves & a straight shift shape. It has bust darts, no waist seam, but there are string belt loops & a blue vinyl & gold chain belt with a coin charm. It has a knee length skirt with a 2" hand basted hem, & it's open at the collar & closes with five gold color buttons in front. The fabric feels like poly cotton, Permanent Press - it's light & smooth & it doesn't really wrinkle. It's in good clean freshly laundered condition. The dress is in great shape but the back seam of the belt is open, exposing its lining, & secured only with a safety pin & the rivets on either end. It's not a very good quality belt - we will include it unless you ask us not to - & it could be sewn or glued together, but you may wish to wear this with a different belt. The label says "Lady Bayard, 12." This is a machine wash warm & tumble dry garment, except for the belt. It is NOT a modern size 12. It fits like a Women's Medium & measures: Chest - 40 inches, Waist - 36 inches, Hips - 38 inches, Shoulders - 16 inches, Sleeves - 9 inches, Length - 39.5 inches. Our model Charlotte is 5'4" tall, her measurements are 36-28-39, & she usually wears a Women's Medium or Large.
