NYC Transit Token Ring, New York City, Brass Band, Upcycled Jewelry, Hand Forged Coin Ring - These transit tokens were discontinued in 2003 due to the transit card & are now a great memento of the NYC subway as a ring. The token is made of brass & after being hand forged into a ring, I add a patina to highlight both inside & out & seal it with a clear coat to prevent skin reactions. If you have sensitivities to brass jewelry, a coat of clear nail polish on the inside of the ring should remedy any issues as well!
