Description

I think old seltzer bottles are wonderfully decorative. This one is from The Magic Soda Company & the front of the bottle has that name etched on an arched ribbon, with "424 2nd Ave NEW YORK" & "Net Contents 26 Fluid Oz" etched below that. I've seen a lot of seltzer bottles, & I've never come across The Magic Soda Company. This is an older bottle, as you can tell from the pedestal design of the molded bottom, & the glass color is no longer crystal clear but has taken on a slightly grayish or amethyst color. Usually the bottom of these bottle is embossed "Bottle Made in Czechoslovakia", but this one is older & just has a large pontil mark. The top silver plated spritzer part is not original to this particular bottle. The spritzer has embossing that says "CALMAN'S PHILA PA". The little lever that you'd normally depress to make the bottle seltz moves up & down, so I'm not sure if the seltzer seltzes. The bottle measures about 11 1/2" tall & it is 3 5/8" in diameter. It weighs 3 pounds. in good condition. FREE shipping within the United States. I'll gladly combine shipping with other items whenever possible.
