Super funky cool Original Outsider art Blues band Painting! This is such a cool outsider art painting! The artist depicts a Blues band playing with an intense & fierce woman playing a large drum/Congo in the center & two men playing guitars with their red & black checked coats over their white shirts. The woman has dark dramatic eye-make-up & is wearing a light blue/lavender jumpsuit. Even with the simplistic painting technique, the artist captured the men's energy & musical effort behind her. the painting is acrylic with some watercolor accents & is painted on paper. the paper has been affixed to foam board & the painting is framed in a 1970s chunky wide molding Mexican carved wood frame. The entire piece measures 16 1/2 x 18 1/8 in. Painting only is 8 x 10 in. The item is in good condition with only some typical wear & minor nicks on the frame. The burlap liner has some staining & could be replaced if it bothers you. If you would like painting only & no frame I can reduce the ship price ( not the price of the item).
