Lovely sterling silver marcasite brooch. I believe that is a photo frame brooch. There is no plastic or glass front. Nice floral /leaves, open work detail. Mark: Sterling Pat Pend This side up (so you done loose the photo) Photo size would be 0.80"x0.50" My sterling & silver items are all with the original patina as when I acquired them.
