Made of solid poplar & cherry wood, finished with a natural beeswax/coconut oil polish. Each shelving unit is of a one of a kind piece of furniture in appearance as we do not stain or color the wood in any fashion. As with all our products we let mother nature take its course in grain patterns & color shade. Made of solid poplar wood. The construction of this shelf system is of mortise & tusk tenon joinery that was developed ages ago allowing for sturdy & simple assembly. No hardware or tools are required & instructions are included in the box. It's as simple as placing the shelf dividers into the positioning holes, adding the shelf boards & the sides then pushing the tusk tenons into the slots on the ends of the shelves.
