125+ year antique dictionary page printed with a quote from the Wizard of Oz: "There's no place like home." I currently work with a set of dictionaries that I found on the "Free To A Good Home" table at a local Friends of the Library sale. Published in 1897, this handsome four volume leather bound set was very much out of date & in poor shape. Sadly, the books were destined for the ash heap of history (aka the local landfill.) But they were also just so beautiful that I couldn't let them be destroyed. I hoped that eventually others would love & appreciate their beauty as much as I do. Now the history of the books & the beautiful patina of their worn & well-loved pages can add a timeless dimension to your new artwork. The dictionary pages have been carefully removed from the sewn bindings. The actual printed pages you will receive will be selected from the same set of antique dictionaries.
