Attach anywhere via the metal carabiner clip at the top OR the regular clip on the back of the reel. The plastic housing that contains the reel will be white or black, selected at random. Badge reels are notoriously destructible. I've tested many reels (it's kind of funny to watch!) & decided these were the best non-industrial strength reel I could find. However, if your badge reel doesn't make it past the six month mark, I'm happy to send a replacement part- just send me a message. Also, these are a standard size so if you have other reels laying around, you can switch over the circuit board piece & rock a cool circuit board badge reel indefinitely! Since we work with recycled circuit boards, every piece will be a little bit different.
