This is a circa 1924 Norida Powder, Rouge & Mirror Compact in nice condition. On the outside, the top features an engine turned Art Deco circular design of interlocking waves surrounding a clean (not engraved) cartouche. The sides & bottom are a shiny gold tone finish. Inside, the upper compartment houses the rouge plate, puff, & an articulated mirror that is in very good condition. The lower section houses the powder compartment complete with the operating sifter wheel. The bottom can be opened to add powder. The powder puff is not present. The bottom of the case is hallmarked "NORIDA REG. US PAT. OFF. PATENTED AUG 5, 1924 MADE in USA". This piece has clearly been used & has some small dings & discoloration on the outside case. Overall, it's a very nice compact. The compact measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter by 5/8 inch thick. Free shipping in USA. I try my very best to only list items that are in great condition.
