WOW! Rare & Wonderful Authenticated Market Basket hand woven by J.W. Longaberger in Dresden, Ohio sometime in the 1950s or 60s long before Dave started the Longaberger Basket Company. This was one of the beginning designs for the famous Market Basket measuring 16.5" long by 11" wide by 8.5" tall plus the handle. It was authenticated & signed by some of the Longaberger siblings during an event held at the Longaberger Homestead. Included is an index card from the appraisal valuing the basket $1500 to $2000, newspaper clipping from the event, & Longaberger pamphlet about Grandma Bonnie's 90th Birthday Celebration. The basket is in overall nice condition for the age & still very sturdy to this day. Please view all photos showing all sides & bottom of the basket.
