The monumental protest sought to address African-American issues across Philadelphia, PA. The ultimate goal was to strengthen Black families & communities. in an impressive feat, the entire effort ran solely on word of mouth, women's organizations, fliers, & black-run media. in the end, some 750,000 women made the trek from various corners of the USA & lined Philly's Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
