Venture was a discount department store founded in 1970. Their headquarters were located in O'Fallon, MO & the first Venture store opened in Overland, MO. This retail chain operated over 70 stores in its heyday & expanded over various areas of the U.S. The majority of these stores being in St. Louis, Chicago, & Kansas City, Some advertising slogans you might remember are: "Saving with style" & "See what a little money can buy". Unfortunately, Venture went bankrupt in 1998 & disappeared into memory.
