British Empire Soldier's Button - WW1 This item is an original button taken off the uniform of an English soldier who fought in World War 1. Thicker & heavier than most others at the time, this button is made of brass & features the coat of arms of the English Royal Family; house Windsor, then called house Saxe-Coburg. The crest displays a lion & a unicorn; two creatures heavily associated with England's royalty.
