This wonderful sampler was done as a reproduction of the original from Martha Jefferson aged 13 years, May 10, 1842. Several motifs & a saltbox house add to the charm of this rustic design. Model stitched 1 over 2 on 35 ct Cocoa Linen from Weeks Dye Works using Classic Colorworks & Weeks Dye Works threads. Stitch count: 179H x 226W. Finished approx. 10.5" x 13.30" on 35 ct fabric.
