Forty Thieves theater advertisement play, lobby poster. Printed by Oldfield & Co. I believe this is from a London production of Forty Thieves. This play premiered in early 1800 & was known for its beautifully stunning sets & costumes. It was also known because women acted all the characters, even the roles of men. This is an original piece of art, not a reproduction. The colors are vivid & beautiful. I have kept this original poster in an inexpensive frame to keep it flat & protected. If you are interested, I am happy to remove it & take additional photos of it unframed. Condition is very good, some tanning & wear around edges.
