Vintage Ecuador Woven Bucket Bag. A wonderful bag from Ecuador, in beautiful shades of blue with a broad striped design. This is a traditional 'Shigra Bag' made from natural fibers using natural dyes, with extra long braided handles. The over 24" inch handles need to be knotted to the desired length, the bag is then ready to fill with whatever you need. This Shigra bag measures almost 9.5" inches deep, the top is 22" inches around, it has no closure just regular bucket styling. This would be a fun bag to take to the farmers market, beach or out for a casual dinner. Although not large it would hold the essentials, wallet, ID, phone & maybe some makeup necessities. It is soft & sturdy & easily packed away when not needed. The top could also be rolled over with the handles tucked in, then set in a bathroom for rolled wash clothes, kitchen for dish towels or bedroom for socks, lots of things will fit & look fantastic.
