A pastel drawing of a Royal Red Cross nurse from the Voluntary Aid Detachment, Civil Nursing Reserve during World War II. It was drawn by Arthur Royce Bradbury (British 1892-1977) signed & dated 1940 in the lower right corner. There is a large red cross on the front of her apron & a smaller one on her cap. The drawing inside the tan colored wood frame measures 11 7/8 x 9 3/4 inches. Included are a few printouts with information about other works by this artist.
