Slovakian wool folkwear trousers. These are traditional clothing worn by men in Slovakia. Colourful wool threads are embroidered in decorative designs on the front & down each leg. The lower legs have brass hook & eye fastenings. One front pocket with embroidered floral ribbon trim. The front section is open ready to thread through a belt. Foot stirrups. Great for a collector & a piece of folk clothing to wear & treasure. These are quite stiff to wear best for a short time or for a photoshoot. Measurements taken when flat: 16 1/2" across the waist, 12 1/2" rise, 39 1/2" outside leg, 28" inside leg Great condition overall. There are a few marks & a few moth nibbles. These have been steamed.
