Spring tea leaves from the Gan De tea region. Crafted using the 'xiao Qing' (消青) processing method, entirely by hand. Rated A grade. Features an orchid-like floral fragrance & a sweetness reminiscent of mountain spring water. Balanced with medium sourness & a robust tea flavor. Provides a refreshing taste & a lasting mouthfeel. Note on Processing Methods: 'Zheng Wei', 'xiao Qing', & 'Tuo Suan' are the three most renowned Tieguanyin (TGY) tea processing methods. 'xiao Qing', & particularly 'Tuo Suan', are known for their higher sourness & thicker flavor, along with a soaring fragrance that appeals to traditional tea drinkers, especially in local areas. For beginners or occasional TGY drinkers, 'Zheng Wei' is more approachable & an easier introduction to TGY. 'xiao Qing', among the three, strikes a balance, possessing characteristics of both 'Zheng Wei' & 'Tuo Suan'. It offers a thicker flavor & more sourness than 'Zheng Wei', but not as intense as 'Tuo Suan'. This makes it recommended for those who have enjoyed TGY & wish to explore further. Storage Instructions: Please seal the tea well & store it in your refrigerator upon receipt. Cooler temperatures are better for maintaining its high quality.
