This is a scale map of Tokyo's world famous rail network. Printed on heavy gloss paper. The orignal size is a large print that measures 55" by 44". It is printed in Pasadena CA by Vivia Print. The A0 size is a new edition. It is a scaled down version of the original. Some of the station names have been adjusted to be more visible. This new version is printed on A0 size semi gloss. A0 is a standard paper size so it is much cheaper to print thus the large price discrepancy from the original. This is an original map designed by Tanager George. It is the only map produced ever that features all rail lines in Tokyo (Metro, Toei Subway, JR & Private commuter lines) Unlike most of the maps sold on Etsy, this is not a rip off of another map with filters. Lots of time & care was put into ensuring accuracy & details. All lines are properly labeled with station & services. Station area is also shown in pink. Major buildings & structures are imposed over the lines to emphasize their importance.
